
Wanshi Botanical Garden has collected more than 7,000 species (including varieties) of plants and built 15 specialized parks including the pine and fir garden, rose garden, bamboo path, palm island, and desert plant area.
There are also more than 2,000 species of cacti and succulents, about 200 species of vines, more than 200 species of bamboos, more than 100 species of Cycads, 11 species of Araucarias, and more than 100 varieties of the city flower, Bougainvillea, forming a plant feature dominated by tropical and subtropical plants, and many plant groups are among the best in the country's botanical gardens.
The most popular attractions for art lovers are undoubtedly the Rain Mist Forest and the Cactus Garden, both of which are popular online attractions. The misty Rain Mist Forest, combined with the beautiful tropical rainforest landscape, looks like a fairyland. The Cactus Garden showcases a variety of bizarre cacti.
The Botanical Garden is suitable for tourism in all seasons. Each scenic spot has different views in different seasons. In spring, you can enjoy the blooming flowers in the Hundred Flowers Hall, in summer, you can explore the Ten Thousand Stone Forest, and in autumn, you can overlook most of Xiamen Island from the highest point of the New Stele Forest.
