Kenrokuen in Kanazawa City is a historic garden known as one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. The beauty of the four seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and snow hangings in winter, captivates visitors🍁❄️🌸🌿
When I actually visited, I was soothed by the scenery reflected in Kasumigaike Pond and the atmosphere of the Kotoji lanterns. The garden is spacious, and it's the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll with your partner or to quietly enjoy nature by yourself✨
To get there, take the "Castle Town Kanazawa Tour Bus" from JR Kanazawa Station for about 15 minutes and get off at the "Kenrokuenshita/Kanazawa Castle" bus stop. It's about a 30-minute walk away, and you can enjoy the cityscape of Kanazawa while you're there 🚶♀️🚌
Admission is 320 yen for adults, but it's free in the early morning (from 7:00), so it's perfect for an absolutely free trip 🎉
