Hurt at the Death Railway Bridge

The Death Railway, originally called the “Thai-Burma Railway,” was built during World War II when the Japanese government borrowed 4 million baht from the Thai government to construct a railway connecting Thailand and Burma from Kanchanaburi Province to Thanbyuzayat City, Burma (the name at that time).

The history of the Death Railway during World War II is considered unforgettable because many more prisoners of war died there. The cruelty of Japan’s desire to build an express train route to go to war with the British in Burma, although the war has now ended, history, memorials, sources of knowledge, evidence, and stories are areas that can tell countless stories.
