Bridge over the River Kwai, the Death Railway

The Bridge on the River Kwai, Kanchanaburi is a large bridge over the River Kwai with a semi-circular steel structure, alternating with a woven structure, reinforced concrete piers, built since World War II, which has gone through hardships and winters for a long time. On top of the bridge, tourists can walk across the river to the other side. On both sides, there are stairs down to the river for taking pictures of the bridge from another angle. On the other side is the Guanyin Bodhisattva shrine. You can walk across to see the Goddess of Mercy. In the evening, this area has a beautiful view. You can sit and eat. There are many raft restaurants. And on the other side is the Prisoner Market. There is food and beverage service for you to sit and drink while enjoying the atmosphere of the River Kwai all night long.
