If you plan to go to Liuliu Town / Liuliu City, here are some suggestions:

Stay in Kangding so you can visit Liuliu Town in the evening (for lights) or early morning.

Best times: Late afternoon through evening offers good light + active streets; mornings are quieter.

What to bring: Camera, layers (Kangding is at higher altitudes so evenings can get cold), comfortable shoes.

Combine with nearby sights: Kangding itself has Love Song Square, Zheduo River, maybe monasteries around. Liuliu Town can be part of a broader Kangding day.

Weather & altitude: Kangding is high altitude; allow time to acclimate if coming from low places. Weather can change fast.
