🏔️ Yala Snow Mountain (elevation 3500m)
Standing at the entrance, you can see a trail of colorful forests leading straight to the snow-capped mountain right before your eyes. All the colors of autumn are here. ⛺️ Camping requires advance reservation with the scenic area. Take the sightseeing bus to the top of the mountain, then hike or ride a horse for two kilometers to a stunning alpine lake.
🏔️ Juli Temple Pass (4100m)
The pass closest to Xinduqiao, where you can see the golden sunlight on Gongga Mountain at sunrise 🌅. Cars can drive up, and you can bring your own table and chairs to the summit.
🏔️ Sequka Village (3300m)
A small village beneath the snow mountains, truly breathtaking during the colorful forest season.
🏔️ Kangding Airport Road (4100m)
A road accessible from both National Highway 434 and 318. It’s recommended to park your car at the open meadow ahead. This road is incredibly beautiful, with Gongga Mountain visible all along the way 🏔️.
🏔️ Gunong Village (3800m)
Also reachable by car 🚗, this snow mountain creek offers a full view of Yala Snow Mountain, with cattle and sheep grazing around. The scenery is absolutely stunning. This is the perfect spot to admire Yala Snow Mountain.

❄️ Recommended Snow Mountain Loop
Day 1: Chengdu - Kangding - National Highway 434 - Honghaizi - Airport Road - Stinco - Xinduqiao (this route offers snow mountain views all along the way)
Day 2: Xinduqiao - Jiagenba - Juli Temple Pass - stay overnight at Jiagenba
Day 3: Jiagenba - Gunong Village - Balang Shendu - stay overnight at Bamei
Day 4: Tagong - Yala Snow Mountain Scenic Area (return to Chengdu via Danba or via National Highway 434)
