[Gunma] Konnyaku Park: Japan's No. 1 Konnyaku Producer!

Gunma Prefecture boasts the largest konjac production in Japan.

Among these, Yokoo Daily Foods, the country's largest producer of konjac products, opened Konjac Park in April 2014.

This konjac theme park was created with the desire to share the ancient Japanese culture and deliciousness of konjac with as many people as possible.

The Konjac Ambassador is Gunma native and superstar Hideyuki Nakayama.

The park is divided into four zones: Factory Tour, Buffet & Souvenirs, Footbath, and Food Market.

The most efficient order to tour the park is:

1. Factory Tour
2. Tasting Buffet
3. Souvenir Shopping
4. Footbath
5. Food Market (Farm-Grown Vegetables)

Factory tours, tasting buffets, and foot baths are free.

The free buffet is limited to 20 minutes per person, first-come, first-served.
All-you-can-pack konjac is 648 yen per bag.

The handmade konjac experience offers three courses: konjac making, a color magic experiment, and konjac fruit jelly making.

At the direct-from-farm facility, you can purchase fresh vegetables and local specialties from Gunma Prefecture at reasonable prices.

Even free admission is a great way to enjoy the park. The Tomioka Silk Mill, a World Heritage Site, is nearby.
