Qijin Island is a small island that is like a resort island for relaxing from the big city. It is only 11 kilometers long. 🌊
In one day, you can travel around the island. A popular activity is to rent a bicycle or scooter to travel around the island. There will be a shortcut along the beach.

To see various landmarks such as

- Kaohsiung (Cihou) Lighthouse, a lighthouse on the top of the mountain, over 100 years old, has a beautiful photo corner. From above, you can see the sea, buildings, and the air is very good. There is a coffee shop for us to sit and enjoy the view.
- Qijin Beach, a wide beach, the sand here is fine and black. The sea breeze + evening atmosphere is the best.

- Coral Reef Cliff
In fact, there are windmills, giant clams, and many more on the island. I recommend coming in the afternoon and staying until the evening to get a full view of all the landmarks. As for us, we only got to see some of them. We will have to go back again because the atmosphere is very good.

How to get there 🏝️

Ⓜ️MRT Orange Line Cianjin Station, get off at Hamasen Station, Exit 1, and walk to the pier. To take the ferry to Cijin Island
There will be a ferry from 05:00-02:00. The frequency of departures varies depending on the time. The ferry fare is 30 TWD and it takes about 5-10 minutes.

🚲 Traveling on the island For convenience, it is recommended to rent an electric bicycle, which is an electric 4-wheeled bicycle that can seat 4 people for 600 TWD per hour. It is easy to drive, but you have to be careful.
