Kaohsiung Dream Mall (Blue Whale Pavilion) 6th Floor - Bai Yu Lou

An authentic Taiwanese restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience with its color, aroma, and taste. Highly recommended!

Today, Kaohsiung experienced some sporadic rain. I visited Dream Mall to shop and watch a movie. For lunch, I went to the authentic Taiwanese restaurant Bai Yu Lou located on the 6th floor of the Blue Whale Pavilion. On weekdays, they offer business lunch sets, which are perfect for solo diners. My favorite is the "Steamed Threadfin Fish with Pickled Mustard Seeds" set meal. It includes white rice, chicken soup with pickled melon, three side dishes, and I also ordered an extra dish of "Stir-fried Pork Belly with Garlic Sprouts." The flavors were absolutely amazing.

The interior of Bai Yu Lou features round and square tables, providing a comfortable and elegant dining environment. Each section has attentive staff ready to serve, and their friendly and enthusiastic attitude adds to the overall experience. This is truly a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone.
