Cycling Along Qijin Coastline

The best way to explore Qijin is undoubtedly by renting a bike and cycling along the coastline. Feel the sea breeze on your face, bask in the sunlight, and discover a series of amazing photo spots along the way.

If you have the Taiwan YouBike App, you can rent a bike at one of the YouBike rental stations in Qijin. Using the YouBike App doesn’t require a local SIM card; you can link your credit card to pay a deposit of NT$3000, which will be refunded after five days. The bike rental fees will be directly charged to your credit card.

Alternatively, right after disembarking from the ferry, you’ll find plenty of places to rent bikes, including tricycles and more, all at reasonable prices.

Starting from the ferry terminal, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the Qijin Rainbow Church. This spot features unique architectural designs with a stunning ocean view, making it a perfect place for capturing beautiful photos.

Cycling forward for another 3 minutes, you’ll come across a giant pure white shell sculpture called "Sea Pearl." Standing in the middle and taking a photo with this massive shell is truly awe-inspiring and definitely worth a visit.
