Tunnel to the Sea – Cihou Lighthouse

One of the places I had always wanted to visit in Kaohsiung's Cijin was the Cihou Fort.
On a pleasant afternoon, I began a leisurely climb up the hill.
As I walked, I eventually came across a short tunnel.
And the moment I passed through that tunnel—
Wow, a breathtaking view of the blue sea unfolded right before my eyes 🌊

On the breezy hilltop, remnants of the old fort remain,
and as you continue up the path, you finally arrive at the Cihou Lighthouse!
The white lighthouse, the blue sky, and the endless sea stretching far into the distance all come together in one stunning view.

From the observation deck, the harbor, city, and sea below create a picturesque scene,
and for a moment, all the cluttered thoughts in my mind seemed to pause.
It’s a humble yet profoundly moving place.
