Urban Oasis – Kaohsiung Grand Hi-Lai Hotel Spa

During my trip to Kaohsiung, I wanted to take a day off to simply relax and do nothing. That’s why I chose the sauna & spa area located on the 11th floor of the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel.

The moment you step into the space, the soft lighting and the scent of wood envelop your body and mind. The dry sauna finished with cypress wood, the humid steam room, the cold plunge pool, and the warm bath are all arranged side by side. The alternating sensations of stimulation and relaxation from the different water temperatures made me feel completely refreshed.

After showering and soaking in the warm water, I found myself forgetting all the noise and worries outside. Following the spa session, I enjoyed a cup of flower tea in the quiet tea lounge, allowing my body and mind to cool down slowly.

What I loved most was that all these facilities are freely accessible to hotel guests.
