Kaohsiung 2-Night, 3-Day Itinerary

📅 Travel Schedule
I traveled from Tainan to Kaohsiung in the morning, but for those arriving directly in Kaohsiung from Korea, please adjust the itinerary accordingly.

Day 1: Kaohsiung City Tour
(Morning) Travel from Tainan (or another city) to Kaohsiung
Check into accommodation
(Lunch) Enjoy beef noodle soup at Xiangyuan Beef Noodles near Yanchengpu Station
Followed by milk tea at Huada Milk Tea
(Afternoon) Watch the rotating bridge at Dagang Bridge (3 PM)
Take a ferry (10 minutes) from Gushan Pier to Cijin Island for sightseeing
Return to watch the sunset at Takao British Consulate
(Evening) Visit Ruifeng Night Market (operates Sat, Sun, Tue) or Liuhe Night Market (open daily)
Have dinner at the night market
Stop by Formosa Boulevard Station for photos before returning to the accommodation

Day 2: Exploring Kenting by Scooter
(Morning) Take the first 9819 bus (8:30 AM) from Zuoying Station (High-Speed Rail Exit 2, not Metro Exit 2) to Kenting
(Lunch) Arrive at Kenting Main Street around 11 AM and have an early meal
(Afternoon) Rent an electric scooter and tour the eastern side of Hengchun Peninsula (2-3 hours)
- Xiaowan, Chuanfans, Eluanbi, Longpan, etc.
(Prepare long-sleeved clothing as the weather can be sunny and hot)
(Evening) Visit the night market you missed the previous day, enjoy dinner, and take a stroll along the Love River
(If you have time, visit the Kaohsiung Main Public Library; the interior is beautifully designed)

Day 3: Kaohsiung Suburban Tour
(Morning) Take bus E01A from Zuoying Station to Qishan
Explore the Old Street and try snacks (cream puffs are delicious)
Visit Gushan Park nearby, which is often overlooked but offers stunning views
(Afternoon) Head to Meinong for lunch and try Ban Tiao noodles
(Since Meinong has limited attractions, you can skip it and return to the city for shopping at malls or visit places like mural villages)
Afterward, plan your return or travel to another city.
