Tianliao Moon World is a park resembling the surface of the moon, also known as badlands, formed by the erosion of mudstone, sandstone, and limestone by prolonged rainfall.

Unique Characteristics: Despite its location in a tropical rainforest, the landscape is barren and lacks much vegetation due to the highly alkaline soil, making it unsuitable for cultivation.

The area is also home to several mud volcanoes, a geological phenomenon caused by natural gas and underground mud rising to the surface.

It has been developed into a tourist attraction, featuring a geological museum and nature trails.

Admission is free.
