Hamasen Railway Cultural Park

Hamasen Railway Cultural Park is located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, and carries the century-old railway memories of the city. This site was once home to Kaohsiung's first train station, "Takao Station" (now the Takao Railway Museum), witnessing the bustling era of railway transportation in the port city. The park preserves historic railway branch lines, old locomotives, and various railway facilities, showcasing over 30 historically significant train vehicles from across Taiwan.

In recent years, the park has been revitalized with the introduction of the retro "Hamasen Train," allowing visitors to experience this historic railway firsthand. Additionally, the park features large-scale art installations and expansive grassy areas, blending history, culture, and leisure elements. It has become a popular destination for visitors of all ages.
