A lovely station with stained glass and seasonal displays

Karuizawa Station, adjacent to the Prince Outlet Mall, is a station with beautiful stained glass.

It is built like a hut or cottage, as is typical of Karuizawa, which is famous for its villas and ski resorts.

The stained glass is also beautiful, typical of Karuizawa, where there are many Western-style buildings.

In winter, around noon, you can enjoy the scenery projected onto the floor as the sun shines in.

During the Christmas season, there are Christmas trees. If you look closely, you can also see wooden carved bears. The display has a forest atmosphere typical of Nagano Prefecture, with reindeer that look handmade.

Sometimes a market is held, so be sure to check it out if you stop by.
