Kasama Nichido Museum of Art

This is an art museum that was opened in 1972 by Nichido Gallery founder Jin Hasegawa in his hometown of Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

There are three exhibition halls on the premises, and a garden with sculptures spreads out in the center.

🔸Special Exhibition Hall
The first and second floors are exhibition rooms.
The third floor has an open terrace called "Cafe de laube (Café de l'Auve)

🔸Outdoor Sculpture Garden
Go through the bamboo forest and admire the outdoor sculptures before heading to the France Pavilion (3-4 minutes walk)

🔸France Pavilion
The first floor is the Hasegawa Kami and Hayashiko Memorial Room, the drawing room, and the museum shop
The second floor is a permanent exhibition room for works by famous painters with ties to France
