✨️Basantapur Durbar or Nau-Talle Durbar is an old Durbar Square in the heart of the old city of Kathmandu.

✨️Basantapur impresses first-time visitors with its intricate wood carvings and rich history.

✨️ Built during the Licchavi period (4th to 8th centuries), it was greatly expanded by Pratap Malla in the 17th century.

✨️ The square is home to several palaces and temples. It is also known as the "Temple Museum" as there are more than 50 temples in the square.

✨️The buildings were damaged in the major earthquake, so many repairs are still underway.
