High-altitude café in Kathmandu: Breeze Rooftop

If you're looking for a stunning view of Kathmandu Durbar Square from above or want to snap a photo with the iconic stupa, Breeze Rooftop Cafe & Bar is the place to be. Located on a rooftop, this café offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in the evening.

The highlight here is the breathtaking view of Taleju Temple, especially during the Golden Hour or sunset, which adds a unique charm. We visited around noon and ended up staying longer to escape the rain, giving us the chance to try several dishes. Highly recommended are the French fries and baked goods. However, the bakery items and cakes tend to be on the sweeter side. For drinks, don't miss out on the monthly specials, which are quite unique.
