Saitama Prefecture|Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine—Summer Limited Wind Chime Festival

#GlobalTravel
Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine is located in Saitama Prefecture, with convenient transportation, making it a suitable place for a day trip from Tokyo.

Every summer, Hikawa Shrine holds the famous Wind Chime Festival. A total of 2,000 "Enmusubi Wind Chimes" are hung in the shrine. The colorful wind chimes sway gently every time they are blown by the wind, making crisp sounds, and the scene is full of poetry.
You can also purchase "short books", which are wooden poem tags on which you can write down your wishes. Many interesting wishes were also found on the scene written in Cantonese by Hong Kong people.

In addition to the summer-only Wind Chime Festival, another reason why Hikawa Shrine is famous is that it is famous for praying for love and marriage. If you also want to pray for fate, love and a happy marriage, this will be a great choice!
