You must visit yomiuri land in tokyo during autumn and winter! Not only is it a theme park, the whole place is also lighted up at night! We went on a weekday night and was surprised that there was not much queues even though there were quite a lot of people. This park is also more popular with the locals.

The illumination is simply breath taking. I saw photos and videos before i went but nothing beats seeing it for myself.

Getting There - train to yomiuri land mae station, then bus or gondola to the theme park itself
