"Kawasaki Daishi" is located in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is famous for being an effective ward off evil spirits and is one of the top three New Year's shrines in Japan. The official name is "Chizan sect's main temple, Kongosan Kinjoin Heikenji Temple". It was built in 1128 by Sonken Shonin of Koyasan and built by Heiken Kanejo and Sonken Shonin. The current main hall was completed in 1964 and houses the statue of Kobo Daishi, the deity that was discovered from the sea by Hirama Kenjo based on his dream work. Throughout the year, many people come to this temple to pray for good luck, family safety, prosperous business, elimination of diseases and disasters, and the fulfillment of their wishes.
