This is the spot I’ve posted about every year: Nikaryō Yōsui – Shukugawara Sakura Namiki 🌸🌸
Having lived in Tokyo for years and visited all the major cherry blossom sites around, I can say—this place is hands down the unbeatable king from every perspective.
✨ Why it’s amazing:
A 2-kilometer stretch of cherry blossoms lining both sides of a small canal.
The trees are tall and lush, creating a dreamy canopy—like walking under a tunnel of petals.
It’s breathtakingly beautiful and feels completely immersive.
🧭 Access Tips:
Take a train to either Noborito or Shukugawara Station.
If you’re a tourist, I recommend getting off at Noborito—it's easier to reach from Shinjuku (just about 20 minutes away!).
⚠️ Note: Last year, it did get more crowded than usual—seems like more and more people are discovering this hidden gem! So it might not be totally secret anymore, but it’s still so worth it.
