Wanghai Lane Fishing Harbor

🏞️ Wanghai Lane Fishing Harbor is located in Zhongzheng District, Keelung City. Formerly known as "Huanfan," it is the easternmost fishing harbor in Keelung City, constructed in 1962. The harbor was created by blasting and excavating the sandstone reef crevices along the coast. Classified as a third-tier fishing harbor, it has a berthing area of approximately 0.74 hectares and a dock length of 380 meters. It mainly accommodates fishing boats under 50 tons, focusing on coastal and nearshore fishing activities. During summer, squid are often caught using stick-held dip nets, while in winter, longline fishing is predominant. The catch is typically auctioned at Keelung's Kanziding Fish Market or purchased by local restaurants.

The surrounding environment of Wanghai Lane Fishing Harbor is serene and unspoiled, featuring stunning sea views and crystal-clear waters. In recent years, the construction of the "Wanghai Lane Cross-Sea Scenic Bridge" nearby has turned the area into a popular tourist destination. The bridge offers 360-degree panoramic views of the mountains and sea, attracting numerous visitors and connecting nearby attractions such as Chaojing Park, the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, and Badouzi Station.
