Wat Theppitak Punnaram, or as the locals call it, Wat Phra Khao, is named after the distinctive feature of the large white Buddha statue enshrined there. This place is considered the gateway to the northeast. Anyone who comes and goes must stop by this temple to pay homage for good fortune.
The highlight of traveling here is walking up the steep stairs, more than 1,250 steps, counting both sides, the left and right sides. When you reach the top, you will see the large Phra Phuttha Sakon Sima Mongkhon or Luang Pho Khao, and you can also see the view of the surrounding Korat city.
Coordinates: Khao Siat A, Ban Klang Dong, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
