Taking photos to worship the Buddha for Chinese New Year at Jijin Island

Passing by on a boat, I saw a Chinese temple on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
Actually, it is not a temple!! 😲😲
Actually, it is the “Tek Ga” Virtue Propagation Association, Jijin Island, which has very beautiful Chinese architecture. ❤

Today, Ji will take you to Jijin Island, a cultural tourist attraction. Inside the association, there are 3 buildings in total.
- Building 1 is the office of the Jijin Island Virtue Propagation Foundation for Charity. Inside is a shrine to Taoist ancestors and various arhats.
- Building 2 is a temple, a combination of Thai, Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist art. You can go in and pay homage.
- Building 3 is considered the most outstanding thing about this association, which is the “Phra Maha That Chedi Phra Chom Chatri Thai-Chinese Chalerm”, a Chinese-style pagoda that stands out majestically at 9 floors. The aunt who takes care of the association area said that you can go up to the upper floors. Inside the pagoda, there are sculptures of deities on each floor that are different.

Ji went up to the 8th floor (the 9th floor cannot be gone up. Because it contains the relics of the Lord Buddha), you can enjoy the view from every floor and see the beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River. But before reaching the top, it was a bit tiring. (Can you see Ji in the picture on the top floor? 😅)

Recommendations Inside the association is quite quiet, not crowded. It is a place where you can go in to take pictures and worship various deities.
