“Traditional wonton noodles, soft noodles, rich soup, Auntie Chung's recipe” 🍲🍜

After learning that the famous wonton noodle shop "Jay Chung" had moved to the Khlong Toei area, I quickly drove my friends there to try it.
The simple, familiar shop occupies a single shophouse. The storefront is unpretentious, yet it's filled with the atmosphere of the original.

I ordered the wonton soup with mixed toppings — the noodles were chewy and soft, not too mushy, and glided smoothly down my throat. The toppings were packed with pork ba cho, ba teng mixed with crispy squid, shang ji, heart, and minced pork. The soup was delicious and well-rounded, simmered from pork bones, and the aroma of a slightly rich chili paste added to the richness, making it a delight to slurp. At only 💵 60–70 baht, it was truly excellent value. The owner's quick and friendly service made this meal even more heartwarming. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through the Plaeng Nam intersection or the Khlong Toei area.
