The 9-storey Stupa, also known as Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon, is located in Wat Nong Waeng, a royal temple on Klang Mueang Road that houses Lord Buddha's relics and key Buddhist writings.
The former reincarnations of the Lord Buddha, 16 classes of visible deities in the Brahmas realm, and Buddhist ceremonies are wonderfully carved on the doors and windows of the 9-story Stupa, while the history of the town is painted on the wall.
Visitors can also enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city from the top floor, which houses the Lord Buddha's relics.
