Waterfalls, Black Beaches & Northern Lights Dreams: Iceland Day 3! 🌊🌌✨

We kicked off another amazing day in Iceland with a hearty breakfast at Byrja — cozy, comforting, and just what we needed to fuel up! ☕🍳 Then it was pastry time! We stopped at Almari Bakeri and picked up some fresh, buttery pastries that made our morning even sweeter. 🥐❤️

Our first adventure of the day was the Lava Centre, where we learned all about Iceland’s powerful volcanic history. It was so cool (and kinda mind-blowing) to see how this incredible land was shaped! 🌋📚

Next, we visited two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls — Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Seljalandsfoss was magical because we could walk behind the waterfall and feel the mist on our faces! 🌈💦 Then at Skógafoss, we were awed by the sheer power and beauty of the water thundering down — absolutely breathtaking. 🏞️

The magic continued at Víkurfjara Black Beach — the black sand and roaring waves made it feel like we stepped onto another planet! The dramatic scenery was unreal. 🖤🌊 We also made a quick stop at the charming Vík i Myrdal Church, perched perfectly on the hill with stunning views of the coast. ⛪🌿

For dinner, we had a cozy and delicious meal at Kjarr Restaurant, where every bite warmed us up after a chilly day. 🍲✨

We stayed the night at Horgsland Guesthouse 11-13, and guess what? Once again, the sky treated us to a dazzling show of Northern Lights! Every night feels like a dream here. 🎊🥹✨
