Bring the kids to Hokkaido to watch baseball! Es Con Field will drive both adults and children crazy!

A trip to Hokkaido wouldn't be complete without a visit to Es Con Field, the home stadium of Ham! There are tons of guides and information about Es Con Field online, but this time, I wanted to highlight the kid-friendly facilities from a family perspective. We were traveling with our four-year-old, and we'd already checked out the children's playlot in F Village, run by the maternity brand BorneLund. The photos online looked quite large, divided into indoor and outdoor areas, so we decided to arrive early to grab a bite and try out the facilities! The match was at 2 PM, and even though we boarded the 11 PM shuttle, it was already packed! Upon arriving at the stadium, it was clear why everyone had come so early. Es Con Field has so many facilities and so much to do!

We first filled our kids' stomachs at the popular Mascot Restaurant and ordered some super cute mascot curry rice. The adorable meal delighted the kids, and then we headed straight to the Playlot near right field. There are two types of admission: a timed pass and a day-long unlimited pass. We purchased the day-long unlimited pass, which requires both adults and children. The ticket is a wristband that stays put, allowing you to enter and exit. We asked the staff and learned that adults can take turns. Just ask the staff, and they'll help you replace the wristband. It was a thoughtful arrangement! This way, parents can take turns enjoying the game!

Eating is prohibited inside the Playlot, but drinks are allowed. There's a small shop selling drinks, so parents can sit down and enjoy a coffee break. They also have Jelly drinks, which the kids love, in super cute Pokémon packaging! Both the indoor and outdoor play areas are very modern and spacious! Indoors, there's not only magnetic tiles, building blocks, and various wooden toys, but there's also indoor bouldering, a giant trampoline, and bubble soccer balls for kids to let loose! Outdoors, there's a sand pit, a giant climbing net, and other facilities, making it a truly enjoyable place for children to play. There's no need to worry about running out of things to do with young children! Older children can also try the Adventure Park inside F Village for more challenging physical activities!

The playground also features a kid-friendly indoor train ride. There are also many family-friendly activities. During our visit, there were dinosaur-related exhibits and a Pokémon-themed stamp collection event, ensuring both adults and children have a fun time! I'm really looking forward to my next visit!
