[Kokura Castle Garden, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture] Visit a garden with a sense of history ☺️

#Spring0yentrip

I went to Kokura Castle Garden in Kokura, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka ☺️

This is a cultural facility that recreates a daimyo garden and a typical samurai shoin from the Edo period, which was a villa of the Ogasawara clan, a powerful feudal lord in the Tokugawa Shogunate, on the site of a shimoyashiki.

It is a place where you can feel the history.

Afternoon tea is held irregularly in the shoin building,

and there is also a place where you can experience tea ceremony, so if you are interested, please check it out.

The garden was very quiet and I was able to take a leisurely stroll.

It is about a 15-minute walk from Kokura Station, where the Shinkansen stops.
