Made by boiling down hot spring water from Oshio Urabandai Onsen in a kiln,

It contains fewer chloride ions and more sulfate ions than seawater.

I bought this as a souvenir and enjoyed the mountain salt soft serve ice cream they sell here.

The salt enhances the sweetness of the soft serve ice cream.

It was incredibly delicious!

I recommend eating it after a walk.
