[Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine with a panoramic view of Kobe City

This is Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. You can see this shrine as you climb up Kitanozaka. Built by Taira no Kiyomori in 1180, this shrine is the origin of the Kitano place name. In fact, this shrine is where the god of learning, Sugawara no Michizane, is enshrined.
