📅 Itinerary May 1-4
Day 1: First day of travel. Normally, it takes about 4.30 hours from Bangkok to Laem Ngop Pier, but this time is low tide, so there are fewer ferries to cross the river. Until the tide comes out, it takes almost 8 hours.
Day 2: Today's plan is to go to Thammayom Waterfall and Koh Ngam. When we went to the waterfall, it was sunny, but the weather was cloudy and rainy. Oh, I almost forgot, the way we went today was on the left side of Koh Chang. The way to the waterfall is very easy. But another place we will go today is Koh Ngam, the road is quite winding. I recommend a good driver. For the trip, pin it at Tantawan Resort. Then, you can kayak or take a boat service to cross back and forth for 100 baht per person. If you have bought a national park ticket, you can use it at Koh Ngam. You don't have to buy a new ticket. P.S. There may be few pictures to show your friends about the view of Koh Ngam. It's raining!!! From being a tourist, we became real victims.
Day 3: Today we planned to relax, so we went to a nearby cafe. Actually, we planned to return to Bangkok today. But there was 1 day left on the holiday, so we moved to another accommodation. While waiting to check in, we went to Coco coffee bar. The food was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the coffee was good. I recommend to friends who are going to Koh Chang that you should not miss this restaurant.
🏨 Accommodation: Lin's bungalow and The stage hotel
🍴 Food Recommendations: We ate most of the food at the accommodation. The taste was good. If you don't stay, you can stop by to eat chicken at Lin's restaurant.
📌 Tips: You should check the water level before the travel date, including the tourist season. Otherwise, you will encounter rain every day like us.
