Beautiful island with lots of activities to offer. Every one has to buy national park ticket to get entry. Price is 200 baht for foreigners. But since we went here for the students educational trip it was shouldered by the school all expenses🤙🏻☺️Lot of restaurants on the beach to enjoy. Hillside area is marvellous. Definitely recommend this place for island hoppers. Koh Lipe used to be a tranquil little island before where nobody heard of. There were no ATMs, no motor vehicles and a "walking street" made of seasand and rocks. Now it's filled with motorbikes cars and trucks 🙀 There are dozens of construction sites and you can see trash in the sea. which i guess the locals are trying to get rid off🦾🦾 Not to mention the numerous amounts of bars and restaurants. Back then, there were a few good ones, but now it's all so commercial and really expensive. The island is not big, you could easily spend a week to explore the whole island. There are several beaches around the island. Suggest to stay in different beach,so you could have different experience. Once you get off the pier,there are a lot of restaurants along the beach.If you like lively ambience and easy access of everything.Better to stay near the pier. But for me,the best is to stay a bit far away from pier.It is more quiet.
The beaches are nice and clean in general.
