Miyang Wenchang Palace, located in the former county party committee compound in the urban area of ​​Mile City, faces south. Originally built in 1623 during the third year of the Tianqi reign of the Ming Dynasty, it served as the school for Mile Prefecture. The current Wenchang Palace, a wooden structure covering 214 square meters, was rebuilt on the original site in 1889 during the 15th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty.

The Miyang Wenchang Palace boasts a three-tiered, hip-and-gable roof structure with raised beams, spanning 17.4 meters in width and 12.3 meters in depth. Built on a 1.9-meter-high platform, the palace features seven steps in the center, each embracing a cascading ribbon. In front of the hall stands the Emperor's Terrace, covering over 80 square meters. The entire building is grand and imposing, boasting exquisite carvings.
