#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck 🍂Autumn Travel Adventure: Experience the Stunning Beauty of Thailand's Hidden Islands!
In Thailand, autumn is almost over, with crystal-clear waters, gentle sunshine, and far fewer tourists than peak season, making it the perfect time to travel! This time, I chose three quiet and beautiful islands: Koh Tao, Koh Kood, and Koh Phayam, to escape the hustle and bustle of Phuket and Phi Phi. Enjoy the vast ocean and a relaxing time.
1️⃣ Koh Lipe—Thailand's Answer to the Maldives
📍Satun Province, southern Thailand (near Malaysia)
The first time I saw the waters of Koh Lipe, I was stunned. The gradient of colors from light green to tiffany blue to deep blue was breathtaking. The waters in autumn are relatively calm, and visibility is so good that you can even see the coral reefs underwater. When snorkeling at Sunrise Beach, schools of fish swim right past your feet. And the sunlight filtering through the water looks like golden dust. At night, if you're lucky, you might even see the Milky Way.
🛫Transportation: Domestic ✈️ Hat Yai → 2-hour drive → 1.5-hour boat ride (recommended)
🏠Accommodation: Mountain Resort (ocean-view rooms on the cliffs) or Serendipity (beachfront)
2️⃣ Koh Kood – Secrets of the Pristine Coconut Groves, Thailand's Fourth Largest Island
📍Trat Province, Eastern Thailand
Koh Kood is a large but undeveloped island. In autumn, you might find yourself alone on the beach. Rent a motorbike and explore the island. Dense coconut groves line the roadside, and cows sometimes roam the shore. Klong Chao Waterfall is at its most beautiful in autumn. Jumping into the water will wash away all the heat. The beach is so soft you almost sink in when you step on it, and the water is crystal clear. No filters are required for your photos!
🛫Getting there: Domestic ✈️Bangkok → ✈️Trat → 45-minute speedboat ride
🏠Accommodation: Soneva Kiri (breakfast in the jungle) or Shantaa (tents in the rainforest)
3️⃣ Koh Phayam - A paradise for emerging artists, also known as "Little Lanta"
📍Ranong, Andaman Sea
Koh Phayam was the most chilled-out spot on my trip. The island has a few small cafes and beach huts. The waves in autumn are relatively calm, perfect for beginners. In the evenings, there's a bonfire on the beach, where everyone gathers around, sipping beers and singing. The sea breeze is cool. At night, it's so quiet that only the waves can be heard.
🛫Getting there: Domestic ✈️Bangkok → ✈️Ranong → 30-minute speedboat ride
🏠Accommodation: Bamboo Bungalows or Phayam Lodge
💡Tip: ✅ From September to October, we recommend staying on the Gulf of Thailand (Koh Tao and Koh Kood), where rainfall is less and the water is clearer.
✅ From November onwards The Andaman coast (Koh Phayam) is best.
✅ Travel to the smaller islands is usually by plane, car, or boat, so check the ferry schedule in advance.
✅ Snorkeling equipment, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent are essential.
✅ Supplies on the island are limited, so it's best to purchase snacks and drinks before arriving.
