Introducing Longchuan Village

Longchuanzhai is located in the back mountain of Shuangfeng Mountain Scenic Area in Xiaochang County, Hubei Province, and is adjacent to Mulan Tianchi. The canyon at the foot of the mountain was named Huashichong Canyon because its stream flows into the Huashichong Reservoir. Later, Wu Wei, the founder of the 6080 Adventure Club, named it Beauty Valley based on the story that Shi Jingyi, a lady from a prominent family in Huashichong Village in the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, studied in Xi'an, met and fell in love with Chiang Kai-shek's second son Chiang Wei-kuo, and got married, creating a beautiful story. The story has gradually been spread by hikers.
