Surin Islands Tour, Moken Village 1 Day

Last summer, Mai went on a 1-day trip to Surin Islands.

Surin Islands, an archipelago located in Phang Nga Province, has many beautiful diving spots, including the Moken Village, a village of the Moken tribe, which is an Unseen Thailand. The main occupation of the Moken village is fishing. Unfortunately, the trip we joined had less than 1 hour to visit the village, which is very short. But it is still very cute. It is a small village with beautiful sea. The villagers sit and string bracelets to sell for 50 baht each, 3 bracelets for 100 baht. Mai had the chance to support them because they are really cute.

This trip is not just to the Moken Village. As I said, they took us to dive at 3-4 spots and a national park. Surin Islands are open for visits from around mid-October to mid-May of every year.

If anyone is interested, we went with the Love Andaman tour for 1 day, which costs around 2,600 baht, pick-up and drop-off at hotels in Phuket, including lunch, snacks, drinks, and insurance.
