Introducing Tianji Longmen
The Tianji Longmen (formerly Longmen Canyon) scenic area is located 29 kilometers south of Quzhou City. It is famous for its canyons, strange peaks, cliffs and waterfalls. The scenic area is full of high mountains and canyons. There are 54 peaks with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. Shuimenjian is the highest peak in Sanqu at an altitude of 1,452.8 meters.
The scenic area also boasts the Dragon Palace, Dragon Bridge, Dragon Pavilion, Dragon Gate, as well as the Dragon's Seal Hot Springs, Dragon Pond Waterfall, and Flying Dragon in the Sky, representing a truly remarkable culmination of dragon culture. Even more remarkable is the legend that a golden carp once leaped over the Dragon Gate and transformed into a dragon. However, captivated by the beauty of the scenery, it refused to ascend to heaven. Later, inspired by a sacred Indian monk, the dragon transformed into a magnificent, winding plank road that winds its way through the towering mountains.
Above the plank road are the Nine Dragon Palace, the One-Step Immortal Bridge and the "First Cable Bridge in Western Zhejiang" which is 108 meters long and over 100 meters high. Visitors can experience the novel feeling of flying through the air on the "Flying Dragon Zipline", the longest cable bridge in East China. When visitors are on it, they can take in the infinite scenery, which is amazing.
