Samet Island is just a fairy tale! The best thing here and why tourists come here is of course the beach. It is wonderful! The entrance to the water is gentle, the sand is white, fine and soft, like flour. The water in the sea is clean and transparent. There are many restaurants on the main beach, there is a rental of jocks and SUPs.

There is a sculpture of a mermaid with a child on the island. You can see it at the very beginning of the main beach of Sai Kaew on the right side. If you stand facing the sea, you need to walk 300 meters to the rocks, there you will see this statue. Thais call the sculpture "True Love". The story tells that the prince was hanging out with the mermaid, then he got tired of her and sailed away on a passing fishing boat, on which he saw a woman with whom he fell madly in love. And the mermaid now stands on the shore in the hope that the prince will return to her.
