Trip to Koh Samet: 2 Days 1 Night

📍Trip Overview
🚩Travel Route:
We traveled by private car from Bangkok to Rayong. The fuel cost was 1,500 THB (round trip), as we also stopped by Chonburi, which made it a bit more expensive. We took the ferry at Sri Ban Phe Pier (round trip 120 THB). **Reminder: Check the ferry schedule carefully!**

🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions:
Koh Samet has many bays and beaches to explore. There's a sunset viewpoint near Ao Lung Dam (not sure of the exact name). Use GPS to find 'Sunset View Points.'

🚇Transportation Options:
There are several ways to get there. Traveling by private car is more convenient as you can stop along the way. Alternatively, you can take a bus or van from Ekkamai Station. The prices vary but not significantly.

🍜 Recommended Food:
There’s plenty of delicious food, but I personally enjoy simple meals like som tam (papaya salad) from roadside stalls. It’s tasty and affordable.

🏠 Recommended Accommodation:
We stayed at Serene House Koh Samet. The accommodation is reasonably priced, and the staff/owner (I think) is very friendly.

💡Tips and Warnings:
Check the ferry schedule carefully, as there are fewer trips, and you might have to wait a long time. Remember your way back to the accommodation, as some areas might have no signal late at night (I experienced this myself—it was quite eerie 🥹).
