Best Western Chaweng Samui Hotel Review

Chaweng Beach is a great place to visit right now. Almost all the tourists are foreigners, and the weather is summer-like, with cooler mornings and evenings. I stayed at the Best Western Chaweng Samui, a hotel that's only been open a month. Prices are reasonable, starting at just over a thousand baht, including breakfast for two. The largest room is just over three thousand baht. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach across the street.



The hotel lobby is lovely, and the rooms are designed to be airy and spacious. The shower and bathtub have strong water pressure and heat up quickly. While Samui often has problems with insufficient water, this place doesn't have any problems. You can ask for extra toothbrushes and razors for free. The breakfast room is open all day, and the Thai menu, from what I've tried, hasn't disappointed. Both the breakfast buffet and the a la carte dishes are delicious. The beach is recommended to arrive a little before 6 a.m. to watch the sunrise. During low tide, you can walk almost a hundred meters to the water level, just below your waist. There are plenty of fish swimming around, but be careful, some may hide in the sand.



At night, the hotel is surrounded by shops, so it's a pleasant place to stroll around. But I recommend trying CoCo Tam's in Bophut. It's a beach bar with a fantastic fire show. You can call to reserve a good seat. They charge you 1,000 baht per person, but that includes food and drinks. You can order anything for 1,000 baht. If you want to eat and walk, you have to pay extra. It's still running at 2 or 3 AM, so finding a car is easy.


Overall, this place is worth the price, especially since the hotel just opened. Don't expect a steep price. It's a good deal. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. There's no fitness center yet, but there's a swimming pool on the first floor next to the restaurant. It's a good option for Chaweng Beach, perfect for those looking to save money for a full day of sightseeing. If you're looking to charter a boat for snorkeling, I think it's a great way to save money.
