Beaches, Bites & Brews: 4 Days in Koh Samui

Koh Samui is one of those places that feels like a perfect mix of relaxation and little adventures. Our home for the trip was Garrya Tongsai Bay, a serene hideaway with sunrise views, warm hospitality, and a peaceful private bay — the ideal base to explore the island.

✨ Day 1 – Checked in at Garrya Tongsai Bay and spent the afternoon unwinding at the resort, enjoying the quiet bay and villa views. Later in the day, headed out to Cheong Mon Beach for a swim, then strolled along Chaweng Beach before ending the night in town for a bit more buzz and people-watching.

✨ Day 2 – Kicked off the morning with a true local breakfast of dimsum and jok at Jok Nong Pooh Coffeeshop, followed by amazing coffee at Second Crack Slow Bar. Then made our way to Big Buddha for some calm moments. In the evening, we caught sunset over dinner at Sabienglai with its stunning seaviews, before ending the night with cocktails & DJ at Easy on Tams in Fisherman’s Village.

✨ Day 3 – Began with a visit to Little Chinatown, wandering its charming lanes and making a coffee stop at Hachiya for a mid-morning recharge. Later in the day, we soaked up the sun at Lipa Noi with its calm waters, then wrapped up with one of the most stunning sunsets at Aquabica 101, a real hidden gem on the island.

✨ Day 4 – Brunch at SOL Bake.Brew.Bites (beautiful coffee and laid-back vibe) before indulging in bakes and slow sips at Just Another Coffee. Wrapped up the trip with a visit to Hin Ta Hin Yai, the island’s quirky rock formations, before heading home with salt in my hair and a big smile.

Samui has this way of blending quiet beaches, fun nights, soulful food, and incredible coffee — and staying at Garrya Tongsai Bay made it even more memorable. Can’t wait to be back 🌺
