An Unforgettable Wedding at Silavadee Resort

We tied the knot in August 2025 at Silavadee Resort with 60 guests arriving from Europe & Asia. Due to the distance, we opted for a three-day celebration in Samui: a pre-wedding cocktail reception on the sun deck the day before; a beach ceremony followed by a cocktail and dinner reception at the Sun Bar with stunning views; and a final beach dinner the day after. As lifetime platinum members with Marriott, we are accustomed to top-tier hotels and service and hard to impress. The care we received at Silavadee exceeded our expectations. Planning the wedding remotely was incredibly positive, smooth, and stress-free. The Silavadee Events team, especially Mrs. Sukun & Tik, managed the entire project with professionalism, answered our many questions, and provided numerous options (chair types and colors, table setups, napkin colors, buffet or table dinner, flowers, candles, fireworks, the jazz band, and more). On the wedding day, GM Tristan oversaw everything flawlessly. The kitchen staff, Mani & Johan, and waiters (Pinky, B, Jiez, Pare, Boom, and others) were outstanding and met our needs before we voiced them. Even when rain moved our reception indoors, it was handled effortlessly, as they had prepared for contingencies. We wholeheartedly recommend the Silavadee property for event planning, especially weddings. Given the chance, we would do it again without hesitation. Beyond the wedding, the rooms and villas are beautiful, the breakfast is spot on with an a la carte menu, the spa is wonderful, and the food in their restaurants is fantastic. Thank you to all staff and leadership for making the most important day of our lives successful and joyous.
