Pink Beach Padar: Where the Sand Blushes and the Sea Shines

Pink Beach is actually located on Padar Island too, just on the other side—you’ll need to hop on a boat to get there. And the view? Oh my God, it’s insanely beautiful! With clear turquoise waters and soft pink sand, it felt like a completely different world compared to the beaches back home. Add in the blazing sun and bright blue skies, and you’ve got the perfect combo for that one photo guaranteed to make your friends stuck at work super jealous.

Normally, I don’t really go crazy over the ocean, but this time I just couldn’t resist jumping in. The water was cool and refreshing, which felt amazing under the hot sun. Sunburn? Who cares. I honestly didn’t even think twice if my skin tone went 20 shades darker—it was worth every second. Here, visitors are only allowed to swim and chill in the water—no snorkeling.

By the way, the pink color of the sand comes from crushed red corals known as organ pipe corals, which are found in abundance in these waters. They even have a sample displayed near the stalls here so visitors can see it up close. Oh, and speaking of stalls—yes, you’ll find a few selling light snacks and drinks, perfect if you need a quick bite.
