Mari Mari Cultural Village is one of the best cultural villages I've ever been, it was an interesting and interactive way of experience. This cultural village is nestled in the middle of a remote forest setting, it has 5 ethnic traditional houses, and offers an interesting overview of indigenous ethnic groups of Borneo, West Malaysia.
Our tour guide was very engaging and friendly, the performers/musicians of difference ethic are showcasing their culture, music & dance, food cooking & previous lifestyle. You get to try multiple drinks and snacks, inclusive buffet lunch. Moreover, visitors can play games and get free henna tattoo with traditional motifs.
▶Mari Mari Cultural Village location: Jalan Kionsom, Inanam, 88450 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The easiest way to access is to rent a car, it's about 20 km away from Kota Kinabalu town area.
