Sabah Kota Kinabalu - The right way to open Cocoa Mountain 🏍️🌿

I highly recommend riding a motorcycle up the mountain! We found ourselves all the way to Kokol Heaven Resort, where traffic was minimal and the entire hike was incredibly chill. As we climbed higher, the cooler we felt, and the views gradually widened.

Arriving at Kokol Heaven Resort requires a RM10 entrance fee, which comes with a drink. From here, you can gaze out over the mountains, islands, the ocean, and even the cityscapes below – the scenery is breathtaking and truly breathtaking.

The resort wasn't crowded, and there were plenty of photo ops throughout, allowing for plenty of opportunities for creative photography. It's a perfect half-day trip, especially at dusk, when it's incredibly romantic.
