Mamutik Island - Malaysia

The white sandy beach, about 200 m long, provides each visitor with enough personal space. In addition to sunbathing, swimming and trekking, snorkeling is popular on Mamutik. The density and diversity of the local corals are small. The best snorkeling spots are on the western rocky edge of the beach. In the eastern part, in the shade of tall trees, there are sun loungers of a local resort. On the territory you can not make noise and collect shells or turtle eggs.

Just 3 km from Kota Kinabalu, Mamutik can be reached by boat in 10 minutes. On the island you will find eateries, shops, a dive center, a lifeguard service, sports equipment rentals, beach mats and tents. Changing rooms, picnic shelters, tables and benches, toilet with shower are for public use.
