Michelin Bib Gourmand Recommended Authentic Taiwanese Cuisine at Blue Whale Pavilion, 6th Floor (Bai Yu Lou), Dream Mall, Kaohsiung

Today, I invited Sam, who came from Taipei to visit me, to have lunch at the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommended authentic Taiwanese restaurant located at Blue Whale Pavilion, 6th Floor (Bai Yu Lou), Dream Mall, Kaohsiung. I had already made a reservation because this is a must-try restaurant where you can't get a table without booking in advance.

I ordered the classic seafood soup, which was absolutely delicious 😋. Adding black vinegar enhanced the flavor even more, and I couldn't stop eating it bite after bite. The salted egg yolk steamed pork patty was incredibly tasty, especially when paired with white rice—it was even better 😋. The steamed threadfin fish with preserved vegetables was tender, juicy, and full of flavor—a true delicacy.

For dessert, we had grass jelly and osmanthus silver ear soup, which were sweet but not overly so—simply delightful 😋. The elegant ambiance and the friendly, enthusiastic service staff made our dining experience even more enjoyable. This is an excellent restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone.
